- assumption 1: white signs
- assumption 2: we will def use all avail schollies

Q: how do you use the last one?

all top 100 2016 are off the board

would you...

a: grab an additional grad , even if just for depth?
b: sign a pure depth 2016 kid, program kid who may never see PT
c: traditional to sit next year and rotation ready in 17
d: trade it for a 2nd round scholly in '18
e: something else?

I know SU is PC, but would a be able to play?

Either a traditional transfer or a walk on getting the free year.

"grad " sounds so wrong.

Two things: first, I would leave no stone unturned, to see if there is a 2016 prospect that has upside who slipped through the cracks [unlikely], who could be a four year contributor here.

If there isn't somebody like that out there [which is what I'd expect at this stage], I'd next look for an upside JUCO--position doesn't really matter. Going this route, we'd only be committing short term, but getting a guy who will be here in two years and help offset the huge group we'll probably have leaving after next season.

If we get White, holy moly, what a week!

You know, you'd think that this approach would be followed more intensely these days, because the college experience history of a player is better than the usual high school player crystal ball future guess.

Isn't that what one of SU's most famous grads(maybe the most famous?), Marv Albert, did that got him into trouble? ;) I wonder if at any point during the encounter he yelled his trademark "Yessss!!!"? I have no idea about the depth.

Also, I think that option may potentially cause problems now that we're in the ACC and play some games in NC, with their new law and all.
