How long to install a zone?

how long does it take for a team to install a zone and implement it? Say we get a team in the 1st round that played 100% m2m this year. Would they switch with just 3-4 days practice? What about guys like Izzo or Howland? Would even they move to the zone?

Nah. Changing everything you do is a desperation move. Most teams aren't bottoming out heading into the NCAAs, so they wouldn't be inclined to make that drastic a change.

I can see teams maybe utilizing some token zone to give us a different look, but sometimes getting away from what you do well does more harm than good.

Any other team outside the Big East that would try a zone against Syracuse would not be able to have enough success to beat them.

The better Big East teams have prepared themselves for Syracuse over YEARS, not just days or weeks.

This is why I say most people on here are jumping the gun on CUSE's demise.

Is this team in a funk against the top teams in the Big East? Yes.

Will they face a Big East team in the Tourney? Not likely until the Elite 8 or Final Four, if they go this far.

This team lacks confidence from the past string of tough games, but they will bounce back once they learn there is no tomorrow at this point, they will simply lace up & rock the rim...
