How Many NYC/NNJ games a Season?

I'd say we should try to play 3 a year if possible as long as the ACC Championship isn't there.

One thought on NNJ: Screw Rutgirls...but I think playing Seton Hall in Newark is a decent strategy some years. See if they'll play us one game in Newark and two games in NYC with a three game contract. We don't need to see them in the Dome.

That said, by crushing the girls, we get the RPI bump because they'll be getting mauled by Big 10 teams all year. Seton Hall will not offer that bump.

As fans, why would we not want to play UConn? Because their message board fans are largely dumb? Ridiculous, who cares? We've played many of our best and most entertaining and memorable games against them, especially in the last decade.

JB isn't going to play 3 good OOC games every year on the road and he's not going to play too many dregs on the road at all. So no way are we going to play 3 games a year in NYC/NJ.

I'd like to see 'Cuse play 2 games per year in NYC, not including tournament games. One versus UConn or St. John's at MSG, the other versus a Big-10 like Michigan or Wisconsin at Barclay's.

Playing the Hall at Prudential Center is fine, but they can be the safety.
