How the heck do we manage the RBs next year?

Gotta assume Broyld is done there, but we've still got 4 that need to be in the mix, right? Somehow that works at LSU but I can't think of another example. A good problem, for sure, but hope we can maximize the talent.

Smith and Gulley continue to be 1 and 1 A. Morris gets carries and is part of the mix.

Broyld changes positions. Unless McFarlene beats out Morris then he moves back to safety. AAM is the short yardage back and basically a non factor.

At the beginning of this year, we were wondering if we had any running backs. I was hoping Curtis Dukes would show up here. We wind up running for 376 yards in a bowl game.

We'll be fine at the skill positions. Even if Pugh leaves, I think we'll be fine at OL - we actually have talented depth there.

All comes down to QB on offense if you ask me. I think Loeb can be serviceable but I really hope Zach Allen comes in and makes this his team.

we're all slotting aam into a short yardage specialist. that's a great role in the pros but not typical for college upperclassman. he's the guy i see wanting to take off to get touches. broyld, in an ideal world, plays the percy harvin role of slot receiver/rb/hb.

I think Laray's speed needs to be on the field in that Harvin role. Broyld's talent can be used in other places.

Smith will be used mostly on specials but also as weapon on offense (like harvin). Broyld goes to a TE/WR (think Hernandez). McFarlene back to safety. Gus redshirts. Great talent and great depth.

Running back is our best position heading into 2013.

He is on pace to use up his eligibility the same time as Smith (assuming he stays for two more years). Given that AAM has a year to redshirt, strictly from a PT opportunity perspective, a transfer might not be a bad choice for him.

That being said, I thought he was great in the "tank" package this season and I hope a transfer isn't on his mind.
