But that means (unless you live within driving distance of NO) you need to either be in the vicinity of NO at the time or be willing to fly in on Sunday before the Monday finals, and getting flights on short notice can be an issue. In '03, after 'Cuse beat Texas and after Kansas beat Marquette in the semi's, the fans from UT and Marquette were selling their tickets outside the NO Superdome immediately after the loss, for face value or less. Also those who drove (mostly fans from Texas) or could change their flights to leave early were checking out of their hotels early and many were still in the process of selling their tickets Sunday, so all of a sudden a glut of tickets for the final, and hotel rooms, were availalbe. Most of the Marquette fans were stuck in town with non-changeable flight tickets, but some of them were selling their tickets for the final, anyway. [/QUOTE]
