This is how you do it! The new Florida coach just hired Randy Shannon, the former Head Coach at Miami, to coach Line Backers(not Defensive coordinator)….Linebackers!!!! Shannon is known was a great recruiter in the South Florida area and his resume includes a long stint as the Defensive coordinator at Miami and coached such legends as Ray Lewis. How do you get a guy with that resume to be a position coach?..$$$$$ and lots of it…I am sure.

He's been a position coach ever since he got the boot at Miami. First at TCU, then at Arkansas and now at Florida. He could eventually get another shot at HC... perhaps at SU.
