I thought the B1G was a good place to start since thanks to the B1G network they now have the largest share of $$ coming in.  I don't think it's a coincidence that every year prior to 2014 they finished dead last in conference recruiting rankings.  In 2015 they finished 4th (slightly behind B12), but this year they are currently in 2nd, and by a wide margin.  At first I thought it could have been the Urban Meyer effect.  He wasn't shy about voicing how the B1G needed to recruit better as a whole if they wanted to catch up with the rest of the country.Then I looked at the standings where they currently have 11 schools in Skot's top 40, and almost all of them have recently had massive facilities upgrades or will in the near future, plus in the case of Michigan, and Penn St were able to spend a ton on a new HC.  Still schools like Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Ohio St (small renovation to already elite facilty) all have made huge facility upgrades in the past 2 years, while Minnesota, Northwestern, Maryland, Penn St, and Purdue all have massive upgrades currently being built.  And these are no small $5million renovations, they are projects ranging from $20m -$155m.  In college football money talks, and it looks like the B1G is buying itself back to the top of college football.
