Hubert Davis should pe public enemy #1 in Cuse

Seriously though. I know ive been critical of our friend mr Gottlieb but i have seen the error of my ways and realize the dude knows him some basketball and hes okay in my book.

However Hubert Davis just dont like him. He questions if we have a go to dude on our team when we were bout to beat Pitt and go to 20-0 and he was called out by Digger. He said UNC is the best team in the country after recently getting drubbed by 30 by FSU. And then today he picks Georgetown to beat us wed night (does he realize were playing at home and we kill it at home) and he says i just really like Georgetown. The dude needs to be called out !!! And im the person to do it.

Georgetown probably will play well and it will be a tough game. Davis is a terrible analyst however. The guy says the same stuff over and over again. He and Digger are godawful. Poor Bilas and Rece Davis having to deal with those two idiots.

Hubert is flat out SCARED of this Syracuse team. He knows they pose a serious threat to his precious Tar Heels. He's very afraid that Syracuse will get the #1 seed in the East with UNC slotted as #2. I don't hate Hubert...but that's mostly because when I listen to his rambling drivel and observe his inability to stay on topic I'm convinced he's mentally challenged with an IQ somewhere in the 80's. What I feel for him more closely approximates pity than hatred.

I'm guessing that some folks at ESPN feel the same way, because that's the only logical reason why he's still on air.

Folks are so sensitive. Just don't listen. I mean, seriously, I dont' watch the halftime reports, I only half listen to the announcers during the game and I spend most of my time reading the select few sports writers I can handle (or not reading sports stuff). But honestly, it's cool to hate the guy I guess but it's just shocking to me that people care so much one way or the other. I mean, people are still watching ESPN for intelligent sports analysis?

It's funny and I agree. You do not have to agree with him, but to say he doesn't know what he's talking about is not very bright either. The guy only played ball all his life, for one of the most prestigious hoops schools and several years in the NBA. I'd say he has some credibility.

So he picked G'town to beat us. They're a top 10 type team and playing extremely well. Is it really outside the realm? Certainly not.

And, for all those getting on his case about us not having a go to guy, why? Do we? And, I mean when the game is on the line, not being up huge all game like yesterday's, etc.. Who do we have that has actually proven to be that guy, let alone consistently? Isn't it really yet to be seen? Scoop has kept us close in some games in the past, but I don't recall riding even him to victory (actually getting us over that hump) when it all seemed quite futile.
