if you take away the 6 INTs, his new qb rating is still only 119.  i don't know, that's still pretty bad.  if it were just "ok the kid got fooled or forced it", i'd shrug it off.  but i don't think that's it

long looks like a better passer but something is going on that makes his numbers look so bad.  the sacks aren't wrecking these numbers, not factored in.

i think if long is the guy because of some intangible thing we're seeing, we better think long and hard (chip bot alert) about who the OC is

i think long could be a spectacular air raid quarterback.  make those defensive lineman be miles apart.  we're not going to do that because we have to do everything the hard way.  so now what?

hunts bad throws are SO BAD that they haunt our dreams but in the end an incompletion that makes me think i'd be embarrassed throwing that in my yard is no different than a ho hum one.
