I love some of these tweets. Hoping that this is the start of a promising career at Cuse.

I would say dreams come true, but it stops being a dream when you work and grind for it. Starts becoming reality. Thank you for your support

As my big homie @RomeSmith45 would say, the hay is never in the barn

A man may fall many times, but he's only a failure when he says someone pushed him

Ahh cuse fans wait to see what we pull out saturday!

Also, Zach Allen congratulated him for getting the starting gig. Irony.

Love the kid. Seems older than his years and seems to have a calmness to him.

His posted video interview today was impressive.

Glad he is getting his shot. He was my favorite QB ever since the spring game when he was signing autographs instead of talking to reporters.
Ditto . Have a nice pic with him and my kids

I really think we win with this kid, I have a real good feeling about him.

Plus he seems like a very charismatic, likable kid. I know it's kind of stupid, and he is the quarterback, but you can tell just by the response he is getting on twitter that he is giving the fans at least some sort of buzz. Look at the amount of favorites and retweets he gets in comparison to any other player on our team. In a short period of time he already seems to be getting more love then Smith. No pressure, but him turning into something good could bring a lot more to this program then some wins.

Yep. He might end up being the best thing to happen to McDonald and Shafer.

Per his story: "... crawled through a mile of and came out clean on the other side" ... something about facing adversity like he's faced builds maturity and leadership like nothing else.

I'm feeling really good about Shafer/Hunt as the leaders for the next few years.
