Apparently WVU offered to play the game in West Virginia, but NCST said "nope".

Moving games to other venues always strikes me as weird.

Like, hey UVA players and staff, we know you, your family and your friends may see your homes catastrophically flooded this weekend, so why don't you all travel hundreds of miles away to play a football game! Cool?!

Why not play it in Ohio? Aren't hotel rooms going to be scarce with millions of people evacuating the coast and many going to try to wait it out in N'ville?

I am surprised more schools didnt opt to move games, very hard to reschedule except after the season. if its a league game even more issues could occur. move nt st/wv to the dome and give us a double header..

University of North Carolina has decided to cancel the rest of the season due to Hurricane Florence. It appears that the hurricane is going to take any and all of their victories with it.

Maybe they've predicted Raleigh will evacuate to Nashville. Then it makes sense.
