Alford, Gadsden, Queeley, CJ, and Cooper.

Growing pains, but athletic upgrades across the board.

Queeley is running better routes, and doing a good job catching.

Alford and Gadsden are bigger guys, get them more targets. Cj and Cooper, need to get more touches in space.

I agree 100%. Courtney has a good feel for finding open area. Reminds me a little of what Erv was able to do. Remember everyone raving about Jackson when he got on campus. think a 100 yard game is coming soon for CJ.

When you think about it, Cooper has been a highly useful add.

When he was announced as a PWO, several posters thought he wouldn't make an impact. He's better than a lot gave him credit for, and his experience playing elsewhere enabled him to hit the ground running and get on the field quicker than most frosh.

Agree. There are some good guys in that group for underneath routes and moving the chains. If you're Dino, you need to start dialing up plays for the bigger guys downfield. They're constantly in single coverage. Opposing DCs are stacking the box challenging us to throw it deep.

Tell GS to put some touch under the ball and give them a chance to go up and get it when they get 1v1 on the outside. Alford is a man-child.

Did you leave out Sharrod intentionally?

Cooper has some moxie. I want to see more of him. Could care less about taj leaving which if you told me that 2 mos ago I would’ve been sweating. I like our youth. They need more in game reps and let Shrader throw more. He throws a much more favorable ball then Tommy. Harder isn’t always better (lol), and Shrader just has better touch. I feel good going forward. I think we squeak out 3 wins somehow here on out.

Can give Cooper taj's scholarship while we're at it. Would also love to see Hatcher soon. Loved his HS tape-Big and very fast.

While the top end, pure talent isn't necessarily there (at least not yet), I actually like the balance of this crew.

I think you're going to see once of those play action throws deep to Alford hit and it will be like out of a movie where the light goes on for him and Shrader as a connection. Shrader can't drop it in a bucket from 60 yards away, but he has enough of an arm to get it down field and Alford can get space.

Having those reps with your QB matters for both WR and QB. It's the reason Tom Brady won't waste time throwing with randoms. He only throws with his guys. Granted, Tom is the greatest QB of all time, so apples to carburetors, but the point stands.

Anyone know whats up with Williams? Dude gets a lot of hype in camp and then goes MIA.

Does anybody know when the team gets those transferring players' scholarships back? When they can be given to someone else?

I know Gadsden is hurt, but that’s the group right there

Alford IS A MAN

Lots of talent for sure. But still needs to get better at subtle nuances of the position.

Almost cost us a pick earlier - he was really slow coming out of his break and did t break back to the ball…you NEVER EVER round off a comeback route.

That written, definitely made amends for it!

Also dropped a for sure TD in a huge situation. I wish him well but I would be happy to see the young guys from here on out
They are down to five guys that have played all year, next guy up would be Hatcher, who isn’t a plus replacement at this point

He is gonna be but not until he adds 15-20 pounds of muscle to his body. The only reason he wasn’t super heavily recruited is because he is so skinny.

Work hard in the weight room young man! It will pay off.

Id add Javonte who i believe is injured and Pena.
Actually on Pena i wouldn't mind seeing him at RB.

I also like Pena
Costly if Pena's wrist injury keeps him out next week. Don't think we have any returner depth right now. Must address kick/punt returner depth for next year.

Great points. When Alford learns how to actually run routes, he will be a big factor and very difficult to cover. Even on the TD catch - which was a great concentration catch and even better pass - he slowed down coming out his stem move.

Route running is something that can be coached up and Alford will improve. He has the highest ceiling of the WRs we have seen play this season.
