I am a proponent of offense in most sports

I fully understand the importance of defense but Its been my experience that the team with the most offense is usually the winner. Statistically,speaking no team at the end of a game with less points/runs or any other unit of measure has ever won with e exception of the game referred to as "GOLF "!! The adage of defense winning games while offense sells tickets is totally correct in that the offensive winner wins game and people love to see their team win. Its funny that way but it seems to hold up under scrutiny. It also goes to explain why soccer isn't popular in this country as much as the rest of the world
