I agree with that idea -- at the least I would hope the NCAA would want to protect the legitimacy of its product. Failure to really lay the smack down on those responsible (by both media and NCAA) indicates a real possibility that this is widespread.

It's illegal, the Federal Authorities will swing the big stick if the allegations prove true. The NCAA really doesn't need to do anything until the FBI has completed its investigation. As for the media...they report on what people are interested in, people aren't interested in Auburn basketball.

The Herd did an anlysis on games etc with Vegas helping out...conclusion...no way was betting affected...it appears no big bets were wagered or won on Auburn games...simply put..Auburn did covered on games favored and did not do better when underdog
