He'll ultimately land somewhere in the middle.  The game will continue to slow down for him, McDonald will hopefully figure out ways to get the WRs better freed up.

Based on Saturday, I still think we can win 6 if we continue down this path.  It's not perfect, but would be a good (or maybe better to say non-disastrous) kickoff to the Shafer era.  A more highly recruited QB and more highly recruited WRs are on the way.  That doesn't always mean much, as we know, but it's better to have it lined up at this point, then to not have it lined up.
