I've seen a couple of things that have me concerned about Broyld, which lead me to think that he would be overwhelmed if he stayed at QB, or would at least struggle with the mental aspect of the game:
1) He's still challenged by "catch first, then make the play..." I believe that really special players have the concentration such that the game slows enough for them that this is second nature. Perhaps he will learn it, but you really need this as a QB, and I don't think he's there yet. His best chance is to learn this in his current role.
2) I saw him give up on routes, most glaring appeared to be during the Clemson game. My concern here is if he is giving up mid-play as a WR, perhaps he doesn't he  thrown to or it is incomplete. As a QB, giving up mid-play could be disastrous.

I have no doubt Broyld has a huge amount of talent, but I trust the assessment of these two staffs that have decided his potential best contribution is as a playmaker (RB or WR.)
