I wonder if you'd be kicking JB off the train? I am guessing he is saying similar things... You're a good guy and I see where you are coming from, but I think we have a right to feel a bit nervous and maybe even upset today. The media is trying to make it worse, going over the ref's calls over and over. I'm glad the team did what they needed to do, and I hope they will again in 2 days.

Be glad you weren't there. I love to hear the comments about the game pro and con. Most was how sh*$$y we plated and were, filled in with JB can't coach and everyone on the team short of 1 or 2 should never play again. I counted over 20 whiney bashing calls before Mantonio could post a positive. It was so bad mantonio had about 3 positives in a 2 minute timeframe and he was off the board due to the crap before they were read and some actually posted they needed a mantonio post to cheer them up during this t period.

I actually left the chat because I wanted to change our mojo...we did go on like a 7-1 "run" after I left...but I'm glad I didn't torture myself (and others) by staying in there as we tried to give the game to UNCA in the closing three minutes. Anyone know if Paul Harris did some Invasion of the Body Snatchers action and took over our players bodies and minds? That was some awful stuff.

Turned on the chat as the game started then went back after it ended to copy and paste it into a word doc. Total storm, as expected. Only glanced at it but looks like a must-read for later. SWC was in there trying to talk sense to the lunatics -- poor guy is either a saint or a masochist.

Well seeing they shot it 12-55 from three in their conf tourney i was surprised at their success. They made their fts and we just played a stupid offensive game in the first half. Had we gone inside from second one we would have fouled out every player.

You can try and kick me off of the train if you want, but being honest about my team doesn't mean I don't want them to win. We've played like crap since Fab's first suspension even after he came back. Why are we jacking up 23 3's against a team who's tallest starter is 6' 5"? Why do we repeatedly collapse defensively on a perimeter oriented team when the ball goes inside before they've proven they can beat our interior defense so they can then kick it out for open threes? Why have our forwards (Kris and CJ) not been coached on how to take advantage of size advantages when they have them by posting up? We should have had high/low stuff available all day. Too many mistakes are being repeated on a regular basis.

No true fan wanted us to lose today but I don't know why people get so upset when fans are critical of the team for playing below their ability and critical of Boeheim for getting out coached. I love our team, I respect JB and I'm thrilled that we won but this kind of performance won't take us as far as we should go.

These are very legitimate questions. It's a shame the two Sub Standard beat writers don't have the stones to pose similar ones to Boeheim (though I fear he'd turn purple and say words we've never heard before if they did that).

Basically, it was a bunch of grown men unleashing their unresolved rage at 18-20 year old young men wearing SU uniforms. I hung around for about 5 minutes and decided that I'd prefer to enjoy the game than listen to the abusive trash slung around the chat room.

During the Georgetown game I left the chat room after the first half when we were down 31-27. Since we eventually won, I've vowed to stay away for mojo reasons. I spew enough negativity during our games without having it magnified and blasted back to me in a chat room. I'm going to wait till football season to return. The football team will have more than enough issues to deal with and any bad mojo I'll bring will be like a pimple on the ass of an elephant.
