I didn't see this game but Asst. coach says refs ‘cheated’ Cleveland State in loss at Kentucky

How bad was the officiating my Kentucky friend(sadly I have one) told me he was laughing at how bad the Wildcats were getting calls in the last 10 minutes. Whenever UK player posted up automatically it was a called a foul he told me. I agree home cooking has an effect, but maybe I was wrong with my Kansas/Kentucky/Duke/Michigan State vs. The Field idea. While I would bet that atleast 1 of them will reach the Final Four maybe college basketball has more parity than I though.

However, I couldn't see Coach Hopkins, Autry, or McNamara tweeting this out after a game or they would have done it after the Ohio State Elite 8 game in 2011.

It was horrible. I hate playing the "ref" card, but Cleveland State had a 10 pt lead, and at about the 5 minute mark, the refs decided enough was enough. It was embarrassing.

I think its pretty clear both Duke and UK got handed their respective games.

In the UK game, it was a pretty dramatic change in officiating in the last 5 minutes.

It was so funny last night when they had a live look in of the Kentucky game, Jimmy Dikes was completely silent.

Probably the same refs that did the SU/Ohio St game.
