I just want to say beating Duke at Duke may be one of the most satisfying sports wins in my life. For me, now that we are in the ACC, beating Duke is like beating Georgetown with a UCONN cherry on top! Does anyway else feel this way? I just can't stand the Cameron stadium. It's just such an obnoxious place to play. The fans are so close to our bench they spit on our players the whole game. And the refs always seem to favor Duke. Although there were bad calls and really bad no-calls tonight (especially the first half), I thought tonight's game was actually pretty even on both ends. I'm sure the Duke-holes were just as mad at the refs as we were. But what a great win!!! As far as I'm concerned this season is already a success. I think this is the first time we've beat Duke at Duke. GO ORANGE!!

As a cuse fan though, got to say they are wrong whining over this one.
I have seen us not have home court advantage no whistle advantage on our own home court time and time again. Duke still had the bad whistle edge today.

Man up you lost because you didn't execute. It happens sometimes, much much MUCH more often with us the past 3 years.

Coming off a championship and they are whining about fouls, come on man, really?

As much as some of us hate Pitt, and Louisville or Gtown when they have outoughed us at times atleast we have the decency to admit we didn't deserve to win the game.

I was sweating after those first 6 words. Whew!
It is tough when one of your family members has gone to pitt though the other half to syracuse. I still don't like pitt in any way shape or form though, outside the steelers anyway.

I also like and respect Duke. It was reported here that the Duke fans were great to some of our Orange fans after the game. I have a Duke friend who was at the game and he instantly texted me congrats. My Duke-fanatic brother broke the NO TEXT CONTRACT we have instituted for games and when the game was over, was nothing but gracious. I have a few other friends to hear from, but I may not because I am sure they will still be reeling by the "unfair" refs, which is typical of all fans, including us.

I would say that in general, my Carolina friends are better sports than my Duke friends, at least to my face! One of my best Carolina friends is at death's door but hanging on with such courage. If we can't win the championship, I hope Carolina does for his sake.

I am extremely glad we beat Duke. HAH, Dookies!

That's pretty funny. I wouldn't say Cooney is a heartthrob but his face is quite attractive. Whereas, while I was quite fond of Kevin Pittsnoggle as a player, he was, well...no need to spell it out.
