I don't get how they are the #1 RPI conference. Looking at their results, their best wins are all amongst each other. Looking at the top 6 teams in the conference, their best OOC win is a neutral court victory versus RPI 23 UCLA. The top 6 of the conference as a whole only has 2 OOC wins versus the top 39 RPI teams. That's 1 less than Dukehas by themselves, and exactly the same number that Louisville, and Indiana have by themselves.
Someone in the MWC leadership figured something out, and the conference has scheduled accordingly. They seem to play fewer teams above 200, but some of the teams have 5 or 6 of those kind of teams on their resume's, so it's not just that.
Either way, kudos to whoever figured it out, because it's getting their league a lot of publicity that isn't entirely warranted IMO, at least based on their actual resumes.
