These kids can't work at regular jobs like any other student, and so the playing, practicing, conditioning, diet regimen, community outreach, etc, are all done to earn the education. Just because someone has a situation most of us can't relate to doesn't mean we can't empathize with many common, if not universal, human emotions they experience.  That's one of the main reasons we have so many problems in this "us and them" society that the establishment has created through their puppet press.  Things won't get better until the masses decide to see through it and see our commonalities instead of the wedges the media drives in our minds.

Whether he paid for his education in a manner you prefer(government subsidized loans, nude dancing, etc) or not, [I]most [/I]degrees are far less close to a guarantee of anything than they ever have been.  You do not have to feel sorry about someone, but you also don't have to act like a jerk as neither Cooney no anyone here has claimed he was a victim of anything other than people acting immature toward them and those who speak well of them.
