I got my wish: Jim Brown Syracuse throwback jersey!

A few months ago, I posted a thread here, asking if anyone had a link for a Jim Brown Syracuse throwback #44. I couldn't find one anywhere.


Well, there's a site... College-throwback-jerseys.com. Awesome site for throwbacks. I was annoyed they didn't have a jersey for the greatest player of all time. I e-mailed them my request to add a Jim Brown jersey but they never responded.

Earlier today, I went on there to show my brother-in-law the Ohio State throwbacks, including a Hopalong Cassady jersey. Low and behold, they had a sweet Brown '56 Orange jersey and a white '61 Ernie Davis jersey.


I scooped up the JB jersey. It cost me $137 with s & h...not too bad. No, I'm not affiliated with the site, but these jerseys are awesome. Very good quality and authentic fits and styles. They also have classic college jerseys for guys like Butkus and Bo Jackson.

Wow... I was so excited about the Brown jersey, I didn't notice that they also have a #39 Csonka jersey on the site too (it's the dreaded blue!).


They have one baseball jersey, a Yaz ND jersey. I had no clue Yaz went to ND.

They have a basketball section, but oddly don't have any hoops jerseys for sale.

Last year at an FSU basketball game there was an FSU merchandise store inside the Civic Center and it had a bunch of sales including a #5 FSU football jersey. I never owned a football jersey before then. Paid about $24 for it. #5 is now worn by Jameis Winston. I'll need to wait 50 years before it becomes a throwback jersey.

Just some advice: they don't tend to have a ton of stock. If they sell out, email them and maybe they could accommodate you.
