That's how I imagine it will eventually happen. They could add additional high dollar seats on the floor and the people who usually sit behind the baskets will actually get better views because they won't be blocked. I imagine they would offer the additional lower level seats by the 20 and 30 yard lines you show to the season ticket holder who site low and would now be behind the baskets.

It will happen. Not the full monty, but like described above.

Yep, except for the chairs, no seats around the court. Would have defeated the purpose since added bleachers would block more seats than added.

Bleachers for sure won't happen. I wonder if there are any ways they could add a little lift to chairs to give some better viewing, but not block the first row of the lower levels.

It's a long distance to cover to the bleachers. You couldn't use all those seats because you'd want concessions and rest rooms down there on ground floor. You would absolutely need to have extra services.

True. I bet fire codes would have also have an effect on seating because of the distance and lack of mass exits if seats were on the floor with the court at the 50 yard line. They could possibly just push the blue curtain temp bleachers back some or purchase larger capacity temp bleachers in place of the current ones but that would just make more of the distance far east seating . I doubt even larger temp bleachers would add that much more prime seating there. Thank you Lawrinson14 for the visuals, you are a talented guy.

That's great work on the photoshop. The plan was to add an additional third row of courtside seats but not any bleacher seating. Front row seats in the bleachers are about 3x as far away as the current front row seats now .

I never liked the idea of putting it at midfield, but why not just slide the court 10 or 20 yards towards the middle of the field? That would have to open up at least 5,000 more seats with a view.

I sat behind the basket in the Georgia Dome in what was effectively the added bleachers. I was a few rows behind the students. The rise is very short, and the views were not great at all.
