That Florida State is going to know they were in a game. Now i know that it would be the upset of the century for us to beat them but i really think the kids are going to be loose and play their hearts out. If we can hang within 3 scores of the eventual national champs shaf and crew should be really proud.

The offense has to move the sticks in order for this not to get out of hand. They can't expect the D to play 45 minutes and not get shellaqued.

If we can move the ball, then I think we can hang within a couple of scores. If not, we're looking at a 35 or 42 to 10 type score. I would consider a 24-14 or 24-10 score a victory.

I just want us to make them work for it. Make them earn every yard and every point. Let them know they faced a cornered raccoon win or lose. (That's my tip of the hat to Turtleman.)

I took my buddy to the Clemson game with me and he was cracking up at the transformation. We got there and tailgated for a bit and I'm talking about hoping we keep it respectable but 80% sure we werent winning. 15 minutes before we head to the bus line and I start my nervous pacing, am obviously gearing up and it was 50%. On the bus heading down sorority row and I'm 80% sure we're winning the game. By the time I enter the dome there was no doubt in my mind we were winning the game, possibly big.

I love it though because you know how great it will be when we finally win these games again.
 
No point in being a player OR a fan, if you don't think you can win.

The proximity to game time cracks me up. I do the exact same thing. Even during the G-Rob years. Well, at least the first two G-Rob years.
 
It's refreshing to be in these types of games again. Win or lose, we're about to go head-to-head with a National Championship contender. Not just a contender, but probably one of the top odds on favorites in all the land.

If you asked me in '07 or '08 if I wanted a piece of Texas or USC, or even Alabama in '09 I dont know what my answer would've been. But I know for good or for bad, I'm excited to see how we stack up tomorrow.
 
I have a feeling you will be on here at 7 pm posting something to the tune that GMC has no rhythm or whatever it is you posted somehow expecting that he should have schemed his way to a close game. Scheme won't matter today, this one will be over and over quickly. Definitely the best team we have faced since 2001 Miami. That Syracuse team was much better and I don't think this team is 2001 Miami by any stretch but they are just throttling teams right now. I don't understand what people have seen to think this will be anything but a blowout and like I said as have many there is no shame in it.
