I will say that this has obviously reached critical mass.  I saw a friend Friday night who lives in North Carolina now.  I had just come back from MSG and he greeted me with a quick hello and said, "so you went to see your beloved Orange...that team that's had a child molester on its staff."  Very nice.

I'm really not sure what JB is going to say in his statement.  He's certainly not the type to backtrack and retract a statement, so I'd be shocked if he does that.  I think he'll say something much more vague and vanilla than most of us would probably want... he'll say something to the effect of:  "In light of the recent developments in the investigation I fully support the trustees' (or NC's) decision tonight to terminate Bernie Fine.  I again reiterate that nobody at SU, including myself, were ever aware of any improper or illegal behavior by Bernie Fine.  I'll reserve further comments until the investigation is complete."  He won't apologize.

IMO JB will not be fired and he won't resign.  I think the stress will get to JB and this may shorten his career.  My prediction is next year will be his last.
