Didn't really read this thread, so sorry if this post goes a little off topic, but I'm going to throw my two cents in. Obviously this offense can work, we've seen it work. I feel that Marrone and Hack are handcuffing it. If they want this high octaine offense, they need to let Nassib do his thing. Let him run the show like Payton, give him way more slack and let the kid play. Second, they need to put the right players on the field. I like Smith, I do, I think hes consistent, runs hard, and all that other good stuff but Gulley is the type of player that needs to start on this offense. He's fast, he's shifty, and he brings that big play ability. Gulley, Broyld/Smith. When I saw the deffense on that goal line stand, where we ran a pitch with smith and he got stopped, that was a great play call. Wrong personel.
