Case in point. I just read an article that points out that Michigan could be in trouble ... possibly facing sanctions ... because? Glad you asked. 2 players tweeted 2 kids who signed committment papers and gave them a congratulations!! This sits the same as the SU Office person who, before the actual signing, announced that DC2 had committed to SU.  And SU had to "self-report" that "violation".
Now let's talk about the drug issue ... what drug issue. The NCAA has no policy on drugs other than it is up to the institution to put a policy in place ... or not. Heaven forbid ... if you have a policy in place you had better not violate it. And if you violate your own policy than the NCAA can take action retroactively for lack of institutional control. We are bogged down in triviality and pettiness.
