To your point specifically, I stated previously that the level of analysis must be identical between the two (different words, same point).  Thus, I agree, if you want to take one set of stats, you must include all like stats in the equation for both (or all in cases like DBs and WRs) when making decisions.

Once again, DeVito may be the right choice to start, I have only been stating that knee jerk reactions (emotions) are not a sound basis for making changes.  I love the win.  However, I think there is more to EDs tale of two halves.  (But that is a different thread)
