So many new pieces and so many new roles. It will take time. Cal's a good team and Iowa is a good team. Even if you leave NYC at 2-2 you still should have more answers than by playing Hampton 2 more times. This is one of those years where pateince is key.

- Joseph was not ready for last night and he probably isn't ready for tonight. As long as he keeps getting experience and keeps learning from misstakes he should be a good PG by mid to late season. Lst night PG play was the reason for lack of flow to offense.
- Rak is much improved from last year. Once he learns how to play with more touches (not head down and to the hoop every time) he'll be even better
- Roberson just needs experience. Looks stiff at times out there as once he settles down can do some nice things. if he can get 1-2 big games he'll be a new player.
- don't worry about if Mike G starts. he's comfortable off the bench and played 30 minutes last night. Regardless if he's anounced at the beginning he will play major minutes
- Trevor is not the issue. He'll never be the 45% knock down shooter we all hoped but he can hit 38-40% and that is fine. you need goood PG play, good passing and other offensive threats to get your shooters open. lats night there was none of that so you get a 2-6 shooting night from 3. As Kaleb develops at the point and penetrates and finds open players, Cooney will get more open looks.
