begging the board for, being a bit positive after a win, but what was griff thinking when he allowed himself to be stripped of the ball late in the game. I mean, he wasn't surprised they were pressing, right? That could have changed the game right there.

his mind wanders into space waaaaay too much. he is who he is until he shows otherwise. Got to take the good and the bad

I'd rather dwell on the two clutch FT's he drained at the end. Overall he had a nice game with a big smile.

Frankly, his stats were great but he also nonchalanted his break away and didn’t go after some loose balls.

He always does this and it is concerning. It’s like he thinks he’s dribbling alone in his driveway. Similarly, Marek does something close when on a break. He’ll get by a guy and then slow down, and like almost forget that same guy is still behind him... leading to a steal.

He's thinking he's not a 2?

I forgave him before it happened. With our coaching and guard play, aside from Richmond in his allotted time, Griffin’s a big reason why we’re not sub .500.

NC State never comes within 5 if KR gets 35 mins instead of 16.

Who thought he should be our starting shooting guard? He looks like he dribbles with Bernie Sanders' mittens on.
Starting guard on front of zone, not offensively he is a shooting guard or small forward not a PG

Seems like we're the only team in college basketball that can't get the ball into the hands of their PG and best FT shooter in late game situations. Fortunately MD and AG made their free throws at the end.

Joe doesn't even try to get open. He just stands still alot. Its hard for me to understand. Gmac at the end of a tight game would break through a double team and go demand the ball. Its just not tonight.

This entire team seems to have the mindset that once you get past your guy, it’s against the rules for that player to recover and catch back up to you to steal the ball. It’s the only explanation I have for how it constantly happens.

I got to see all the reactions in the game thread before it happened for me (delay and all). Looked to me like he expected to get fouled from the front and didn't think the guy behind was there to make the steal. But that's just a guess.

Drives me insane that our forwards/bigs dribble the ball up court at all. Get the ball to a guard, immediately!

They are not being coached the basics. Doesn't Gmac coach the guards.

When SU used the last timeout you could see JB yelling at Joe, who has a habit of running away from the ball in late game situations like Gmac did in the 03 title game

It's not just the guards, it's the entire team. And does anyone yell out to the ball handler to watch their back? I mean, crowd noise is not an excuse. It shouldn't be this difficult.

I'm not sure AG hasn't replaced Joe as our best free throw shooter, and Joe had sat a while so I was sort of glad to see AG go to the line.

I don't know why teams don't press us all day - nobody except Kadary can be described as having a good handle. AG's is awful and Marek's is getting worse.

Understand where you are coming from but at least this year when as a team we are shooting 84% on free throws, nearly any of our players going to the line is head and shoulders above the last several years.
