The fact that we seem to be always on the bubble. I love JB, been a huge fan since 86. Really got into I. 87 when I was ten and my dad started taking me to games. That being said I’m tired of all the bubble year to year stuff like everyone else. I some people think it was because of probation, but I personally really think it’s been because a dip in recruiting and when that started is the USA basketball stuff. A lot of people thought that should help in recruiting. Let me say, I don’t blame JB at all for doing that. It’s the USA, once in a lifetime opportunity to coach for our country. But when Hopkins also coached, I believe that’s when stuff started going downhill. Curious to what everyone else thinks.

I don't think it helped the program as much as people thought it would, and I think the second go round considering where the program was, was a mistake. Not sure it is a seismic change to where we are today though, but think it was bad optics at the time, and still do.
