I suspect next years Clemson game will be a tough ticket

If the rest of this season plays out like many of us are believing it will, and we look even stronger on paper next year, and after the wars we’ve played with them the last two years...that could be the most hyped home football game since...1998 or so?

Isn't that by design so they can have more time to work on the initial Dome renovations? I think it's the only reason Liberty is even an away game.

Aside from the fact that losses could occur for both teams prior to our meeting dropping down the coverage if its the same weekend as something like OSU-PSU you aren't getting the ABC primetime slot pretty much no matter what. Friday might not have the prestige but its worth it to be guaranteed a night game.

The assumption is Clemson will be Clemson. If you're hoping for a Friday night game, your saying you hope we suck. When is the last time a top 5 team played a top 25 team on Friday night?

Don't get me wrong, personally I like Friday games. I don't live in Syracuse so can't attend games or tailgate. Watching a game on Friday night after work and then having the whole weekend to do family stuff is perfect. But us playing Clemson on a Friday night means it's not a desirable matchup, which means we stunk it up to finish this season. I don't want that.

From what I understand, the Liberty game wasn't a 'Herm' thing. After getting the 2 for 1 with them, we asked for the roadie in 2019 to accommodate potential Dome renovations.
