That makes a difference—isn't nearly as strong as "we stand by him."

One good thing I read into this is that his comments ala the accusers must not be enough to get him fired. She wouldn't say we stand by him if she was thinking he had to go based on that.

If you just read the AP's tweet, I would think that he has some pretty good job security.

If you read this article and listen to the interview, I would think "He is our coach...as of right now."

I watched the video and they asked her the same question 3, 4, 5 times. She repeated the same statement everytime and by the last time she was highly irritated.

Maybe. It worries me that the only thing that Cantor really said was that we stand by is "it" not necessarily him. Meaning his statement/apology Sunday night. That has been viewed as a vote of confidence. I hope that it is. But I an not so sure.

I think JB survived his early comments. We'll see whether he survives the next stage. If he goes before law enforcement gathers more evidence that makes him the scapegoat, he'll have been served an injustice.

Right. Word is she also directed Jake C to recommend P. be fired before he retired. He didn't.
