Look at the top teams right now. Let’s say Michigan. They have tapped into Chicago, Niagara Falls, Dominican Rep, Spain, etc, etc, etc. Similar thing with Arizona. It’s a much more global game now. These teams are smart. They have smart analytical personnel who identify people with the skills the team needs. From there, they pitch the vision and close the deal with a strong cash offer.

The days of Cuse just hitting the DMV, philly, upstate ny pipelines need to end. They need to think broader and stop relying on old connective things when the top teams are thinking and spending bigger and more globally.

To summarize, we get all excited when we bring in an AC with DMV/Philly whatever connections and they bring in those dudes. We lose because while we think small and teams like Michigan & Arizona are spending big $ and are bringing in people from all over the world who fit their analytical data points.
