But playing name teams tonight are the likes of:
Goucher
Reinhardt
Warren Wilson
Newberry
Olivet Nazarene
Roosevelt

Yikes!

These are college basketball teams? Or players on teams?
Well, as I remember (with a little confirmation from Marsh):
Warren Wilson plays for the Goucher Gouchers.
Olivet Nazarene is a French import who has only played organized ball for three years.
He and Roosevelt play for the Newberry Reinhardt's.

I might be slightly off on this, but I haven't seen the two teams play in a few years.

Goucher was a women's colleage until 1986 when it became one of the last single-sex schools to go co-ed. It was a very fine women's college -- just outside the Seven Sisters (Radcliffe, Pembroke, Wellesley, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Vassar and Barnard). It is now a co-ed D-3 school. Prior to Johns Hopkins becoming co-ed in 1969, it was the the women's counterpart to JHU in Baltimore

I played a match against a tennis player in the D-3 playoffs from Goucher my senior year of college. Really nice people I met from there though.

I have a lot of family members who went to Goucher including my cousin who is currently a sophomore there.

Newberry is a DII school in South Carolina. My brother in law went to Newberry was the DII wrestling national champion in 2010 @ 184 lbs. Here is a clip of him doing a sick flip to get out of a jam.
