He explained and expounded on his statements, putting them into "context" (his word) for the local media and for the national media present. I've never been in the unfortunate situation of having a long time employee and friend accused of anything so heinous, but from where I sit, he handled the entire thing very well and was largely positive regarding the actual game and their opponent.
