I shall admit, I was frustrated by the team's many mistakes, even though they dominated the stat sheet, if you will admit you knew they would come back a la Wake Forest Style...
Regarding the unnecessary penalty that cost us the game:
1. It was technically the correct call.
2. It was morally the WRONG call.
I continue to stand against the concept of a penalty call for an infraction that has no effect on the field of play.
You would think, in their infinite wisdom, the NCAA could come up with a better way to deliver justice in these scenarios.
My judgement would involve snowshoes & a clown costume... J/K
Actually, wouldn't it be more fair to penalize the player alone, instead of harming the team & the fans. You could keep the player out for a few plays, or an entire quarter, even if that involves another game.
