... would start running like #29 again and stop trying to run like #3.
I've noticed when Bailey hits the hole he puts his shoulder down expecting to get hit. This way, if he gets hit at the line he hopes pick up that extra yard when he gets hit.
The problem is, when there is a hole ... he stumbles and has to stand back up to get running again and has lost his vision and ability to make a cut. Because of this he gets hit after 5-8 yards and only gets a 5-12 yard gain. If he hits the hole standing up with his eyes at the secondary, he breaks those runs for 15+ yards and maybe goes untouched to the end zone.
I know part of the reason for him doing this is the ball security issue but I think this offense has to start rolling the dice a little and going back to letting Bailey run they way has been successful running. Stop trying to find gold in a silver mine. Get back your tailback ... a change is gonna do you good.
