I wish I watched BG's 692 yard game against MD

And people who are skeptical of this offense (see syr .com site) need to get on board.

Well edsall coached here a million years ago and he's a retread. It's ask the media needs to know because they're lazy.

How was there red zone scoring Millhouse? I'm curious on how they did on the 3 or closer as well. This offense is fascinating.

48 to 27 yet it was 20-20 early in the 4th quarter?

But we don't have the elite quarterback and wide receiver talent that Bowling Green has!

HA!! Nice thing is I think Dino will find a QB that can run his system for us. He may not be an elite qb or athlete that will transfer to the nFL, but we will be slinging in come hell or high water, no other option. There is a Timmy Chang out there somewhere.

Tressel had the sweater vest, Dino should get a lab coat because he will be doing research and tests in the Dome very soon.

Dungey could be truly special in this scheme. My only concern is the university's current policy on concussions. That could really screw us.

Agreed, I think the system makes a lot of qb's look good, don't get me wrong Dungey is choice #1 but whatever happens we should be OK.

I think the offense will be humming eventually, but as of now, SU really doesn't have the relative-talent of Bowling Green. Matt Johnson was a pre-season MAC player of the year candidate. Roger Lewis was a 4-star OSU commit.

That being said, SU has enough talent to immediately compete with peer programs (pretty much everyone on the 2016 schedule but ND, FSU and Clemson), and I am encouraged by the performances against schools like Maryland, Purdue, Memphis and Tennessee, where BG was operating at a talent deficit.

Yes of course but when you have multiple players and their families pissed off about being kicked out of the program because they have been cleared medically then there is a problem.

Cleared medically by another doctor doesn't mean much. There might be issues with our policy and/or doctor, but the fact that they found someone to rubber stamp them isn't evidence of anything at all.

If you watched that game it would've looked something like this

Bowling Green was 2-1 versus P5 teams this year. Imagine what Dino will be able to do with better athletes.

It doesn't sound to me that that is what's happening - at least not in Knapp's case. It seems like Syracuse is going much further than other programs - not to protect the student athletes but to cover their own butts. Because these players are going to keep playing, just not for SU. I don't know - are any other football programs disqualifying their players at a similar rate?

One side wants to protect the players and is advising shutting them down. The other side wants to keep playing and found someone to support that decision.

That's all we know.

You can advise student-athletes to shut it down without throwing them out of the program.

If you you think they are risking their futures and the program is at risk from law suit, you need to make sure they are not at risk anymore.

Again - maybe the policy needs to be looked at. I'm just saying that a player finding another doctor to give him the green light is not the proof that it needs to be changed.

Except its been said Syracuse doesn’t have a neurologist making the call, it’s nore like a GP. Or did I mis-understand?

That's what I've read.I think I would trust the "rubber stamp" from a specialist over the word of a GP.

I think there's a lot of conjecture over something with too little fact. I'd just file it away as "To Be Continued"

Me too. But we don't know any of that for sure
