I wonder how they feel about this beyond the very obvious pay check involved.Actors like Tom Noonan John Lithgow. Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector is a very big exception because Hopkins has had a huge and varied acting career. I imagine that an actor like Sean Bean loves the opportunity to play the good guy like Ned in GOTs albeit a short stint before he becomes the reason why we hated Joffrey. There are very many more of course. I did find out that their names and faces are included for "casting directors" use. Terry was personally involved in the hiring of every actor on his show. To fill the role of Jones he auditioned Maria Sirtis from Star Trek and ET's mommy. Barbara Sukowa is a highly praised actress out of Europe.When my wife went into LA for the show's premiere she and Barbara"clicked".
