If Cano gets greedy and walks Cashman will be hated in Stripe land He needs to get rid of all the dead wood on the roster and infuse some offense. If it isn't coming from the farm its must be from trades or the FA market and thats limited because the Steinbrenner off spring are more worried about the bottom line than winning like their father wasn't.George knew he was filthy rich and wanted the team to win to complete himself psychologically. He ran the tam like a king might his kingdom with ruthless determination to get what he wanted most.:p If the Yankees are smart Giardi will still be the manager and won't have suffer the agony of Hughes and Joba MaybeCC can find the right arm angles to throw his dramatically slowed down fastball and slider. Maybe Tex will come back as a decent offensive contributor. Having Soriano from the onset will help. Perhaps another catcher can be found in the system or trade that can utilize both the bat and the position requirements. I'm thinking Sanchez or Murphy. The latter two might be a bit premature but they are due for a phenom to appear on the field for them. WAY OVER DUE
