My biggest concern would be recruiting. Are there enough parents of high level kids who would be willing to send their kids to play for the first female coach of major men's program? I'm not sure we are there yet. NBA pedigree or not I could see it being very difficult to recruit.

If you’ve already made up your mind that you’re hiring a female coach, then you’re not doing it for the right reasons and most likely not making the right choice.

I want a college head coach not an NBA assistant, regardless. She gets a head coaching job at a smaller school and proves to be one of the best candidates out there, then we’ll talk.
