He'll be our most prolific freshman wideout ever.

Three more catches for 26 yards gets him to being the 2nd most prolific freshman wideout, behind Shelby Hill in both categories.

I feel like this is what we have left to play for.

Look, the dumb stuff the coaches do is pretty much inexcusable for their pay grade. But that's the coaches, and history has shown us that it's rare that those old dogs learn new tricks. We're going to continue to waste the advantage the Dome gives us, and we're going to punt the ball at bad times for bad reasons. We just are.

I'm trying to stay positive about the players though. We have some talent deficiencies. We also have some younger guys that I think are pretty good already, or aren't too far from being pretty good. I like Long a lot. I like Run DMC, Morris (haven't given up on him) and Phillips. I like Paris and Shaheed-Moore. I like Estime, Ish, Cornelius, Lewis, Avant and Custis, and Broyld gives us something too. I like what we have on the offensive line in Ward, Foy, Trudo, Palmer, Robinson, Hayes, Roberts et al. I like the potential of what we can put out there. I like what we've got working on defense. I like that we've got a pretty good do-it-all kicker coming in.

Right now though, the coaches are really, really struggling to make that into a cohesive whole, so I'm going to celebrate the individual achievements of the players.
