Buddy of mine went to the Carolinas for Thanksgiving. Cheaper to fly out of Albany than SYR.

I always go in and out of Albany on my trips to see the family. More direct flights and so much cheaper.

Why the heck are flights so expensive upstate?!

I can find flights from NYC and Hartford around $250-300. Hell, even White Plains isn't much more than that.

Because we have the worst airport in america. I wouldnt be surprised if someday you cant get a driect flight to ny for crying out loud.
