If JB is fired and it is perceived by the players as unfair, what do they do? Do they band together and threaten to not play? Do they speak out? Do any players transfer? To me, a big part of the answer is if anyone else on the staff is let go as well. If Hopkins takes over, it will be a very different situation than if the whole staff is let go.

I hate to speculate on this of course. I hope the university stays with JB until the investigation is complete. Then as JB has said himself, deal with the consequences of the findings at that time.
