IF Clemson loses which I doubt they will but a great question. LSU, OSU, OK are in. Baylor? Georgia? No one from the PAC12. UVA won’t get in I highly doubt.

But wouldn't that cost the ACC, and in turn Syracuse, money at a time when we are trying to do a major facility renovation?

At most it costs SU a couple hundred grand. I am not really going to care about that.

If it was real money made but I don't think no ACC in the CFB playoff 1 year would hurt our renovations.

Since 2015 Clemson only has 4 losses total.
2 to Alabama, 2018 Sugar Bowl, 2016 Championship game.
2017 to Syracuse
2016 to Pittsburgh

68-4 since 2015.
I don’t think the Coastal has anything to do with that.
Clemson’s only ACC losses are to the expansion teams.
2014- last loss to Florida State
2014- last loss to Georgia Tech
2013- last loss to South Carolina

They are Alabama.

Our last win against them was in 2004, the last year of playing them every year. We've played them 3 times since under the division structure, 3 losses. We play them again next year in Death Valley.

We lost to them 29 times in a row, which, at the time the streak was broken in 1990, was the longest losing streak of one team against another. It was surpassed by Navy vs. ND. Since ending the streak, we're 8-10-1 against them. It may be a while before we beat them again.
