Our offense is supposed to be what those last two drives were. Quick passes to open areas, let the receivers run. Utilize RBs out of the backfield and take occasional deep shots.

So far this year we haven’t seen any of the quick passing game to Riley or Johnson over the middle. We really haven’t seen many of the quick WR screens either.

Just because Pitt is better than NCST doesn't mean that Syracuse cant beat them. Syracuse can still beat anyone left on the schedule and can lose to anyone too. Every week is a whole new season.

No doubt. Thought maybe Dino hit on something by running Jarveon late. He gained some yards despite having zero blocking and getting blasted at the LOS, just on pure strength and toughness.

You more likely meant new OL personnel...scary to think the 2s are worse than what we've been running out there.

Sure we have, but I have also watched 4 Pitt games, 2 or 3 Wake games, 4 BC games, 2 FSU game and so on and so forth. everyone has major flaws. To say Syracuse cant beat Pitt means that you know Pitt will like they did against USF and Penn ST and not against Delaware (im aware of who didnt play in that game), Ohio, and UVA. Im not saying Syracuse is good by any means, but neither is anyone left on the schedule. Im sure that we choose to look at the glass half full differently, but there is half a season to play and to say they will finish last because they lost tonight is premature IMO.

Howard certainly created a spark while he was in there for sure. Since they are struggling so much to score against P5 team I would love to see if JJ could get a few touches to see if he can break one and get a quick TD

All I know is the last 5 minutes we finally looked like the offense we saw 2 years ago with Lewis as OC... We didn't even see it last year.. I can only hope Lynch sees it

Ncstate also played prevent defense on those last 2 drives hoping to just eat time up, which happened. We aren’t going to see Pitt play super soft D the entire game. Can’t put too much stock in how we played at the end of the game b/c the Ncstate defense was playing like it was in a scrimmage.
