if JB is not suspended we win that game in all likelihood. Suppose we won that game but everything else went the same. We have 10 acc wins 20 overall.

Are we in?

Yes. It eliminates our 2nd worst loss, gets to 20 wins overall and 10 wins in the ACC

Yes or the St Johns game, or any of the other losers we lost to this year.
St Johns was a blowout -- I think it's easy to say if JB was around we woulda beat Clemson.

THat's our big chance with the committee -- if they take that into consideration

Pick and choose any 1 loss and that is likely the difference.

I think coaching actually cost us the game today.

I agree we would be in.

So really that's all it comes down to. Is there any argument made in the committee room to that effect. Does any argument made sell anyone on the committee.

We can and will spend the next 4 days guessing, but it's all about whether the committee gives us any relief on those games.

McDonough said Malachi was taking his biggest free throw of the season at the end of the game today.

Actually, it was the one he missed at the end of the Clemson game that cost us the game.

If we win Clemson, we should have lost to Va Tech at home.

You are what your record is.

But we didn't lose to VPI. That's a win with our full team that is not in question. It's all about the suspension. That is the only wild card with this team.

A win at home vs Clemson is not much of a resume builder. Our late season slide is more of a problem than an early conference loss to Clemson.

Would have avoided a bad loss, and got us to 20 wins, and 10 conference wins.

Yes. It would have made us the 6 seed in the ACCT. Meaning we play FSU instead of Pitt. Even if we lost again to FSU, I think we get in as an 11 seed. Now we are an NIT team.

It would help...yes...but not a lot IMO.
