I say next game we start Jordan 30 yards behind the line instead of the 20 he was today.

If we throw across the middle, our runs up the gut won’t be as successful (we would average 1 ypc instead of 1.5 ypc).

I know that's the theory, but if the LBs have to sit back on the potential 5-10 yard crossing pattern, it should keep them from crashing the LOS and get us somewhere around 2 ypc.

Alot of this offenses routes are sideline routes that take ALOT of things to go perfectly. in dinos era we have never used the real estate in the middle of the field which is there with combo routes against ANY D! its frustrating and yes, have to get JJ IN SPACE. the OL played pretty good today but the play calling and skill positions continue to not impress.

But to complete a pass in the game of football you have to:
a) throw the ball
b) catch the ball

Since it can be safely determined that the probability of both (a) and (b) happening during the same play are extremely, extremely low, we can expect to see the dive up the middle much more for the foreseeable future.
