Whenever Syracuse loses in the tournament, my concern shifts to, "what team winning will piss me off the least?" Traditionally, this means, "please don't let UConn, Georgetown, Duke or Kentucky win." I've decided that I'm fine with either Michigan or Louisville winning it all.
Michigan: Beilein by all accounts is a great guy with Syracuse connections (LeMoyne); they play an exciting, up-tempo style that is good for college basketball; and we can say that we should have beat the national champion.
Louisville: our conference brethren, good for conference bragging rights; they have probably one of the half dozen best fan bases in college hoops and I don't mind seeing their loyalty rewarded; they aren't Georgetown, they fill the Yum Center up every single game; Pitino is probably already slightly ahead of Boeheim on the all-time greatest coaches list, so this won't change anything.
